Where else in the Northwest can you stroll past 22 preserved Victorian homes on the National Historic Register? Built in the mid-to-late 1800s, these beautifully restored homes were built to house U.S. Army officers stationed at Vancouver Barracks. The Grant House, built in 1850, now houses Willful Winery, a woman-owned winery that began in the Dundee Hills in Oregon. Fort Vancouver has a long history of hosting cross country events dating back to 2001 when it was selected as the site for the USA Men’s and Women’s National Championships/World Cross Country Trials. The Fort Vancouver course is a rolling, European-style layout consisting of two kilometer loops on grass. Built around 1918, this historic building originally served the Cut-up Plant of the Vancouver Spruce Mill, operated by the U.S. Army Signal Corps’ Spruce Production Division. Around 1924, the building was moved to its present location by the Army Air Service. Today the National Park Service continues the tradition of “adaptive reuse.” The Historic Hangar, with its character and glamour of by gone eras, can be adapted to any special event.

Pearson Air Museum and its grounds celebrate aviation history with historic structures and archaeological sites tied to the U.S. Army, military aviation, and the colonial Hudson's Bay Company fur trading post. Located inside the historic Grant House overlooking Fort Vancouver, Willful Wine has been making award-winning wine from the Willamette Valley and Walla Walla for 25 years. The restaurant offers a full food menu as well as beer, cocktails, and Willful wines by the flight, glass, or bottle. Events offered throughout the year include live music, high tea, and historical presentations.

The parade will take place, rain or shine, on **Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at 11:00am** at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. The parade route begins at the east end of Officers Row at East Reserve Street and Evergreen Boulevard, winds through the Fort Vancouver National Site, and concludes on 5th Street near Pearson Air Museum. The event will be broadcast live on CVTV for those unable to attend in person.

**Parking** will be available at the Clark PUD lot on the corner of Fort Vancouver Way and Mill Plain Blvd, in the lot to the south of the O. O. Howard House, and in the Fort Vancouver Parking Lot on E 5th street.

USTA PNW NTRP Sectional Championships

Established in 1904, the USTA Pacific Northwest is one of 17 sections of the United States Tennis Association, the governing body of tennis. Based in Beaverton, Oregon, the USTA PNW is a 501c3 charitable nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote and develop the growth of tennis in the Pacific Northwest.  Operating in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and northern Idaho USTA PNW over 25,000 individual adult and junior members and over 200 organization members and providers, such as tennis facilities and community tennis associations, who also help us to promote the sport.
