About Sanford Health Athletic Complex

The Sanford Health Athletic Complex (SHAC) opened in November 2016 and is home to the Scheels Center and Nodak Mutual Basketball Performance Center.

The Sanford Health Athletic Complex is also home to the Scheels Center and Nodak Insurance Basketball Performance Center.

Scheels Center is home to wrestling and men's and women's basketball. The facility features chair-back seating, an open concourse overlooking the arena, a club room on the upper east side, and as many as six basketball hoops for training on non-game days.

The Nodak Mutual Basketball Performance Center opened in November 2015 for NDSU men's and women's basketball. Connected on the southwest corner of the SHAC, it is adjacent to the teams' and coaches' locker rooms and offers two full courts with six basketball hoops for practices.

Golf Short Game Facility
The North Dakota State men's and women's golf teams moved into a new short-game facility in February 2018 on the third floor of the Sanford Health Athletic Complex.

The facility includes 2,500 square feet of sand-filled putting and chipping turf. The turf is contoured with slopes to simulate realistic on-course scenarios and features 12 holes spread over various flat and sloped conditions.
