The All-Service National JROTC Fitness Challenge Championships will lead the way in showcasing the finest, most hard working JROTC teams in the nation. The JROTC Fitness Nationals will attract many of the best Male, Mixed and FEMALE JROTC fitness teams in the country. This single-day Championship event will be a strong test for your worthy program. The JROTC Fitness Nationals are designed to be a fun & exciting test of excellence that will take solid conditioning, teamwork, strategy, strength, quickness, power and determination - everything any solid PT/Athletic/Raider team maintains, all of which are looking to adjust fire and compete here! This event is designed to give the biggest and best spotlight on all-service programs wanting to end their year on the sands of Daytona Beach!

National JROTC Fitness Challenge Championships 

The NHSDTC remains the oldest, largest and finest all-service drill & ceremony competition annually assembled in sunny Daytona Beach, Florida. Sponsored for decades by the U.S. Army Cadet Command, "the Grand Nationals" as this legendary event has grown to be recognized features school-aged drill & ceremony units of all ability levels and from all of the four service branches. The finest judges brought in specially for this event, along with the premiere, first-class beach front venue, hotels and surroundings, combined with the finest awards and competition mementoes, give the Nationals the type of overall ambiance that simply cannot be replicated anywhere in the world of school-based athletics. The Grand Nationals remain an unparalleled weekend of military excellence. Over 180,000 cadets, instructors and parents have attended the NHSDTC competition for over 35 years. While a few smaller meets have tried to replicate what is presented to your youngsters at the Nationals (often to disappointment when the advanced promises don't meet up with the low-budget reality), there is no experience within JROTC that can match the buzz and excitement that is maintained all weekend at the NHSDTC! Hosted by National event leader Sports Network International, we urge you to think about the benefits your program could gain through ending your year attending the Nationals as a competitor or as a spectator.

National High School Drill Team Championships

Daytona Beach's multi-purpose convention center and entertainment complex host numerous concerts and performances throughout the year. The Ocean Center also incorporates sun, sand, surf, and speed into its fourteen Art in Public Places works. In February 2015, the center installed the NASCAR Stock Car Hall of Fame exhibit to pay tribute to the area's rich racing history. The exhibit honors legendary drivers and personalities in stock car racing and includes photos and plaques of 58 inductees. The Ocean Center received the 2016 Readers’ Choice award by Convention South magazine. This is the sixth time the county-run convention center has received the award from top meeting professionals who hold events in the South.
