Daytona Beach's multi-purpose convention center and entertainment complex host numerous concerts and performances throughout the year. The Ocean Center also incorporates sun, sand, surf, and speed into its fourteen Art in Public Places works. In February 2015, the center installed the NASCAR Stock Car Hall of Fame exhibit to pay tribute to the area's rich racing history. The exhibit honors legendary drivers and personalities in stock car racing and includes photos and plaques of 58 inductees. The Ocean Center received the 2016 Readers’ Choice award by Convention South magazine. This is the sixth time the county-run convention center has received the award from top meeting professionals who hold events in the South.
