Max H. Christensen Stadium is conveniently located in the southwest corner of the intersection of N. Loop 250 and N. Lamesa Road.
Opened in 1952, the stadium has a long history in the Midland community. It was home to the city's professional baseball franchise for many years. Today, it is the home field for the Midland College Chaparral Baseball program and area high school baseball programs. The stadium can accommodate up to 5,000 people.
It has also provided a venue for concerts and summer camps. Recently, Christensen Stadium became home to the Midland College Transportation Training program and its fleet of vehicles.
