Astound Broadband Stadium at Scharbauer Sports Complex

You might be surprised to learn that Astound Broadband Stadium is home to various high school leagues – despite looking like it’s straight out of the NFL. This is a testament to the passion that Midland residents have for high school football, and the importance it plays in so many Texas communities. The stadium is a 15,000-seat (18,000 capacity) venue that can accommodate both football and soccer games and has hosted events such as the annual Texas Tech University Spring Scrimmage, University of Texas of the Permian Basin Football, the West Texas United Sockers, and high school football playoffs. This stunning venue is sure to make your athletes feel like they’re a part of something big.

Astound Broadband Stadium has a capacity of 15,000 and is the home stadium of Midland High School and Midland Legacy High School Football and Soccer. The stadium is also used to host UIL Football and Soccer playoffs, as well as Youth Football Championships. Astound Broadband Stadium is also used to host College Football games for University of Texas Permian Basin.
