A small 16-acre site located along the Grand River in the southwest portion of Ingham County. It has historical significance both as an Indian campground and later as an early Ingham County settlement. Picnicking, fishing and softball. The historic courthouse square in downtown Charlotte holds the 1885 Renaissance Revival Eaton County Courthouse.
