K1 Speed

The Utah Pickleball Center is a massive $42 million, 170,000-square-foot facility currently under construction in South Jordan (272 W. 11000 South), slated to open in October 2027. It will feature 41 courts, a 2,500-seat stadium court, a fitness center, and serve as the home base for the Utah Black Diamonds.

The Jordan River Parkway is a massive network of paved trails in the greater Salt Lake City area that is perfect for road biking and walking along the Jordan River. There are dozens of trailheads that run north to south along the route that offer parks, covered picnic tables, bathrooms, pavilions and even fishing ponds. Water fowl can be seen frequently along the river, and several places have pullouts and benches that allow you to go down by the water to feed the ducks. The Nature Center in Murray, the Conservation Garden Park, and the Redwood Nature Area are some of the facilities along the trail that allow for more interactive experiences for children and adults alike. There is a lot more going on along the parkway than simply a place to walk and ride. It is a large project that spans many counties and is based around conservation and education. It is one of the many reasons Salt Lake City is considered a great outdoor city.

Utah State Parks and Recreation and the Utah Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association (UHGPGA) are partnering to preserve this unique recreation area that is an excellent site for teaching and gathering experience for flyers of all levels. It is known worldwide as one of the best training sites for both paragliding and hang gliding. Flight Park State Recreation Area is being jointly managed by Utah State Parks and Recreation and the Utah Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association. Mulligans offers two nine hole golf courses, the Ridge; a nine hole executive course with a combination of par 3's, par 4's and a par 5; and the Meadow; which has nine par 3's. Jordan Gateway Bar & Grill

a vast 630 acres of natural area that runs from east to west among the growing neighborhoods of Sandy. The park includes more than 15 miles of trails for hikers, bicyclists and horseback riders.

Dimple Dell Regional Park

The Corner Canyon Trail System is a fantastic recreational area near Salt Lake City that is mainly used for mountain biking but also allows foot traffic, dogs, and horseback riding. The trail system is butted up against the Wasatch mountains in the city of Draper in the southeast corner of the Salt Lake Valley. Tucked between developments is a free and wide open swath of doubletrack and singletrack to explore without having to leave the suburbs. With its low altitude, the riding season starts earlier and lasts longer than many Wasatch mountain biking trails. The average difficulty of the trails is moderate with a few more technical sections, meaning this is a place that everyone who loves to ride should try.
