Matt Ryan rallies in final round to capture THE PRO FTB title

FRISCO, March 23, 2025 – “Matty Ice” lived up to his nickname, as Matt Ryan pieced together a final round comeback to win THE PRO FTB inaugural tournament at PGA Frisco. The former All-Pro quarterback rolled in an eagle on the opening hole to close the gap against second round leader Mike Leach, an NFL veteran of 16 seasons, and played steady golf the rest of the way to take home the title.

The 2025 IIHF Under-18 Men’s World Championship will take place in Frisco and Allen, Texas, from April 23-May 3, 2025. The 10-nation tournament, which features the best men’s players in the world under the age of 18, began in 1999 and will be played on U.S. soil for just the fourth time.

Devon Doggett Takes on Sports Sales Manager Role for Visit Frisco

(Frisco, Texas) January 16, 2025 – Visit Frisco announces the promotion of Devon Doggett to Sports Sales Manager. In this role, Doggett will expand on his first-hand working knowledge of recruiting and hosting premier sports events in Frisco, Texas. In March 2023, Doggett joined the Visit Frisco team as Sports and Events Destination Services Coordinator where he was an integral part of the team hosting successful NCAA Division I FCS Championship games, PGA Jr League Championships, LoneStar Conference tournaments, East-West Shrine Bowl, U.S. Army Bowl and Scooter’s Coffee Frisco Bowl games, and much more.
