The former All-Pro quarterback rolled in an eagle on the opening hole to close the gap against second round leader Mike Leach, an NFL veteran of 16 seasons, and played steady golf the rest of the way to take home the title.

(Frisco, Texas) January 16, 2025 – Visit Frisco announces the promotion of Devon Doggett to Sports Sales Manager. In this role, Doggett will expand on his first-hand working knowledge of recruiting and hosting premier sports events in Frisco, Texas. In March 2023, Doggett joined the Visit Frisco team as Sports and Events Destination Services Coordinator where he was an integral part of the team hosting successful NCAA Division I FCS Championship games, PGA Jr League Championships, LoneStar Conference tournaments, East-West Shrine Bowl, U.S. Army Bowl and Scooter’s Coffee Frisco Bowl games, and much more.
