About Opelika Pickleball Facility
The Opelika Sportsplex is home to a total of 24 dedicated pickleball courts. The original Opelika Pickleball Facility was built in 2020 and has a 12-court, state-of-the-art pickleball pavilion (open-air cover). The brand new (opened in 2022) Point Broadband Pickleball Facility has 12 additional covered courts. Both features LED lighting and regulation courts for tournament-style play. Access to bathrooms, showers, lockers, and concessions. Auxillary meeting spaces are available on-site at the Opelika Sportsplex.
Through research and player input, plans were drawn up that would put Opelika at forefront of facility design.
"We've Got You Covered" is a tagline created by the Opelika Pickleball Club. It describes the unique, open-air pavilion cover that creates shade from the heat and cover during rainy days.
