The Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board (VFTCB) and TNSTP American Kickball League announced an adult, recreational kickball tournament coming to The Proving Grounds in Conshohocken this June.

Last year, more than 1,200 runners and walkers from 22 different U.S. states and two countries competed in the hybrid race. All proceeds from this signature event benefit Valley Forge National Historical Park, which has a significant economic impact on the region, generally contributing $36 million and several hundred jobs to the local economy.

As golf evolves, it’s clear that new-age venues like Topgolf King of Prussia are more than a fad; they’re a glimpse into the future of the sport.

The VFTCB’s award-winning sports team reported on a record-breaking summer, having hosted 35 sporting events with record high attendance, generating more than 85,000 total room nights resulting in more than $23 million in positive economic impact. That’s up 19% year-over-year. Overall, sports is contributing to more than 70% of Montgomery County’s total group business.

To highlight Valley Forge / Montgomery County as a premier destination for all this athletic action, the Valley Forge Tourism and Convention Board partnered with Parody Studios, a creative content production and post-production house based out of Philadelphia, to develop a video that shows off the sports and leisure offerings.

Valley Forge Sports was thrilled to once again host the world’s largest all-girls flag football tournament at The Proving Grounds!

The team is thrilled to have just hosted a historic weekend with more than 10,000 visiting athletes and families among multiple sporting events, including two national events: U.S Youth Soccer Eastern Presidents Cup and NXL Paintball’s Mid-Atlantic Major.

A youth soccer tournament featuring 120 teams from the Northeast region is coming to Valley Forge, with games kicking off at The Proving Grounds in Conshohocken and Plymouth Whitemarsh High School in Plymouth Meeting.

After three years of COVID interrupted attempts, the International Network of Golf (ING) is finally headed to Montgomery County.
