Abundant with wildlife, this beautiful 191-acre park is located on the south side of the Township and provides a unique experience in nature. Features include a pond and creek, fishing, meadows and wooded areas.

There is also an extensive mountain bike and hiking trail system throughout the park.

Wasem Fruit Farm is a family-owned and family-oriented orchard providing visitors with high-quality products, especially pick-your-own apples, pumpkins, and tart cherries. Also featuring seasonal homemade, unpasteurized cider and delicious fresh donuts made daily. Wasem Fruit Farm can be found at the Ann Arbor Farmers Market regularly year-round.

The 439-acre park is a one-stop shop for year-round recreation and outdoor fun! Rolling Hills County Park is one of the most recreational-diverse destinations in Washtenaw County! Come splash in the waves, float the lazy river, or ride the slides in the Water Park. Take in nature on the trails, try your luck at the fishing pond, or enjoy a quiet picnic beneath stately oaks and let the kids discover the playground. Challenge yourself to 18 holes of disc golf, or a game of softball or horseshoes. There's plenty to do in winter, too. Head out to the park for sledding and cross-country skiing on the rolling hills, then warm up by the fireplace in The Lodge at the end of the day.

Float down the lazy river, catch a wave in the wave pool or take a trip down one of the water slides. The activity pool is popular with younger children due to its zero-depth entry and gentle bubbler. Relax in the chaise lounges and sand chairs on an extensive sun deck located throughout the water park.

At Wiard's, you can pick an apple from the orchard, watch cider being pressed at the cider mill, pick your own pumpkin, take a stroll through the country store or get lost in a cornmaze.

Wiard's is also famous for its bone chilling "Night Terrors" haunted houses. Night Terrors is one of the largest haunted thrill parks in Michigan.

This 106-acre park is centrally located in the Township and is designed as a youth sports & family park.

Amenities include a soccer and youth baseball/softball complex, paved and natural trails, a community built accessible playground, a fully accessible picnic area and a wooded area.

Conveniently located between US-23 and I-94, Pine View’s 27-hole golf course gives players the enjoyable experience and beautiful illusion of playing on a traditional northern Michigan course. Flat Water is a Big Bear Tournaments ice hockey tournament in Ann Arbor, Michigan, running October 2–4, 2026. Sanctioned by USA Hockey, the event welcomes 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U teams at B, A and AA levels. Each team is guaranteed four games, with the final game serving as a championship or consolation contest, and game periods vary by age division.

The 9th Annual 5K Domestic Violence Awareness Run/Walk is an in-person community event at Frog Island Park in Ypsilanti, Michigan, on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Participants can run or walk alongside friends and family while raising awareness and showing support for people affected by domestic violence. This approximately three-and-a-half-hour event offers a meaningful way for the community to come together in support of survivors.&#x20;

E-Race the Stigma with the Trinity Health Probility Ann Arbor Marathon! Supporting local mental health charities, participants run through the vibrant streets of downtown Ann Arbor, then wind their way through the panoramic University of Michigan campus. The marathon, half-marathon, and 10K courses also encompass stretches along the Huron River and Gallup Park and through Nichols Arboretum before returning to campus and downtown.

The 2026 Women in Sports: ElevateHER Summit, presented by Michigan Athletics, brings together student-athletes, alumni, community members, coaches and attendees for an evening focused on opportunity, leadership and the future of women in sports. Held October 15 at Crisler Center, the event features networking with current and former student-athletes and coaches beginning at 5:30 p.m., followed by a panel at 6 p.m. with Michigan alumnae and prominent sports-industry leaders including Andrea Joyce, Kate Johnson, Estee Portnoy, Casey E. Taylor and Li Li Leung. The summit offers storytelling, professional development, networking and mentorship.
